First look at the Dibea C17 stick cordless vacuum cleaner
The Dibea C17 is the first Chinese electric broom we will be testing. It has an equivalent at Dyson but let’s face it, it is not the same price not even close. The C17 is a much cheaper but yet still a very interesting cleaner for the price.
Now that we know the Dibea C17 is very affordable. The question is whether it is effective and whether it has sufficient autonomy to allow you to clean your whole house.
For a device likely to be visible in your interior, you still need a minimum design. that is exactly what you are getting with his model who has nothing to envy in his category.
A cassette-shaped button will allow you to turn on the broom and operate it on 2 different suction speeds. The latter stays on once you release your finger.
The part containing the engine is detached from the part containing the tank. For this there is a small button placed above the vacuum cleaner-broom.
The dust compartment is a good size, it opens thanks to a small hatch located under the broom. This empties over a trash can very easily.
A non-telescopic arm will allow you to reach the ground without getting tired. We would have liked it to be a little longer. But in the end it is not too serious as you do not exceed six feet in my opinion.
At the end of the arm is the head of the vacuum cleaner with his work spinning automatically. Indeed, the arm has hidden power cables that transfer the power of the battery to the small roller that will turn very fast.
We particularly appreciated the flexible nature of the suction brush. By turning the handle of the vacuum without forcing, the head also turns to pass in all angles.
The overall design of this cleaner is a success. It is not heavy at all and will not cause fatigue even after 40 minutes of use.
On hard floors such as tiles and parquet, the Dibea C17 broom works flawlessly. It swallows almost everything it finds on it’s way in one pass. Dog hair does not resist, crumbs and other dust are swallowed immediately. Rotating bristle brush at its ends and flexible makes it possible to take off most of the elements of the ground. On the other hand, if it is something stuck to the ground, the broom will not be enough.
The most difficult for him is to clean the carpets. We made the test to put on a carpet different qualities like dog hair, dust, crumbs of cakes and whatnot. It took several passes to get to clean the carpet to 95%. However, micro particles remain at the end. This is an honorable result considering the price. It’s not perfect.
Overall you can clearly say that if you only have a few anecdotal carpets and no dog at home to dirty them, the Dibea C17 will suffice. If you plan to clean almost exclusively tiled and parquet, the broom will be perfectly comfortable. If everyday you want to do a quicker cleaning in areas where dirt is more encrusted as on carpets and rugs, then I advise you to take a broom stronger.
2 in 1 vacuum cleaner
Due to its relatively small size and light weight, you will be able to use the Dibea C17 vacuum cleaner in areas located in particular in height. You will also be able to use it on your dining table. In short you will be able to use it as a hand vacuum cleaner.
It is therefore a very effective cleaner in this configuration. In any case much more effective than what you would have got by buying a classic hand vacuum. All accessories can be connected without any problem in this configuration.
It is ultimately a good broom vacuum that we tested. The Dibea C17 is doing well in most situations. Obviously, it will not be the fastest, the beat quality build, the most powerful. It’s just a good broom vacuum that will allow you to clean hard floors comfortably at a very reasonable price.
